Bio: Known for almost
inciting riots by verbally-tirading fans during his ring entrance,
"The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt proves each month he's one of the
best wrestlers in the country through a combination of superb technical
wrestling, top-notch brawling ability, solid high flying maneuvers
and vicious rulebreaking. Wyatt was voted by 3XWrestling fans as the
2009 Wrestler of the Year and 2009 Most Hated Wrestler of the Year.
His Kansas Tumbleweed finishing move was selected the 2009 Finishing
Move of the Year.
Wyatt debuted in 3XW in April 2006 with an impressive win over
Gage Octane. Since that time he has made a major impact on both
the singles and tag team division. In 2008 he formed a very successful
tag team with Tyler Cook that was very popular with the fans of
3XWrestling. Undefeated after months of action, they appeared to
be on their way to defeating the Northstar Express for the 3XW Tag
Team Championship at the Clobberpalooza Classic in Sept. 2008 until
Wyatt turned on Cook, destroying him with a Kansas Tumbleweed mid-match.
Wyatt later explained he was upset with Cook after Cook pinned him
in the 3XW Pure Wrestling title tournament the month before, at
3XW On a Stick! in August 2008.
This led to a vicious feud (voted 3XW Feud of the Year in 2008
and 2009) with Wyatt attacking Cook at every turn. Wyatt defeated
Cook in March 2009 at Paint the Town Green! to win the 3XW Pure
Wrestling championship. Cook regained the title in April 2009 at
April Showers of POWER!, followed by Wyatt regaining the title in
May 2009 at Mayday Mayhem in Carlisle, Iowa.
The feud culminated with a brutal ladder match in July 2009 at
the 4 Year Anniversary Event which saw Cook climb the ladder and
win the title while Wyatt, suffering from head and neck injuries
after an errant dive attempt earlier in the match, vomited on the
mat while crawling for the ladder. The match was voted by fans as
the 2009 3XW Match of the Year. Cook is the only wrestler Wyatt
has been pinned by in 3XW in over three years.
Wyatt recovered in quick fashion from his injuries, defeating Devin
Carter for the 3XW Heavyweight title in August 2009 at the King
Of Des Moines event. Wyatt has successful defenses over former WWE
and ECW star Al Snow and finished a classic, intense feud with Rory
Fox in January 2010 at New Year's Revenge.
