Once one of 3XW's most popular stars, seeing Gage Octane walk down the aisle now causes many a fan to look away in disgust. After turning his back on Egotistico Fantastico, as well as 3XW fans, and joining the "Blue Chippers" at Retribution in April 2006, Octane now believes he has the backing he needs to once again climb to the top of the mountain.
In June 2007, Octane turned on his long time friend and Blue Chipper teammate, Brian Ash. This started a heated feud between the two that culminated in a "Loser Leaves 3XW" match in October 2007 that saw Octane defeat Ash. In November 2007 Octane defeated Devin Carter to become the 3XW Heavyweight champion, with the help of his new friends Mark Sterling & 3XW Commissioner Todd Countryman.
In 2008 & 2009, Octane formed one of the most successful teams in 3XW history with Mark Sterling as The Gentlemen's Club. The duo defeated The Northstar Express for the 3XW Tag Team championship held it for an impressive 11 months before losing the titles to The High Flyers, Mike Sydal & Zach Thompson.
In February 2010, Octane & Sterling split in a violent manner. Octane, Casanova & Devin Carter leveled Sterling in a devastating manner. Together with Todd Countryman and the returning Brian Ash, a new Gentlemen's Club was formed & has promised to take over 3XW.
