Bio : Jerry Lynn is one of
the most talented wrestlers going today. He started out in wrestling
in one of the hottest series of matches in independent wrestling
history, against the Lightning Kid (Sean Waltman aka X-Pac). In
his first taste of the big time he signed with WCW. During his
time in WCW he competed under a mask as Mr. JL. After his time
in WCW, Jerry competed in a tournament that decided the first
WWF Light Heavyweight champion. Shortly after the tourney, he
signed with ECW where he had several great feuds against the likes
Justin Credible, Tajiri, Super Crazy and his most famous feud
against Rob Van Dam. At the peak of his ECW career he won the
ECW World Heavyweight title, in a match against Justin Credible.
He faced RVD in the main event of the last ECW pay per view. He
then moved on to the WWF where , in his first televised match
back, he defeated Crash Holly to win the WWF Light Heavyweight
championship. After his stint in the WWF , Jerry went back to
the independents and also joined the internationally touring wrestling
company, WWA. While with WWA he became the WWA Cruiserweight champion,
defeating Chris Sabin in a tournament final. In 2002 he joined
the new pro wrestling company, TNA. After joining TNA, he teamed
up with AJ Styles to win the NWA World Tag Team titles in a tournament
final. Shortly after this he also won the TNA X Division title
by defeating AJ Styles and Low Ki in a 3 way ladder match. In
2003 Jerry formed a new tag team, this time teaming up with Amazing
Red. The new team defeated Christopher Daniels & Elix Skipper
to win the NWA World Tag Team titles. In 2004 he wins the IWA
Mid South Heavyweight title by defeating Danny Daniels.
