| "The Future "
Frankie Kazarian was born on August 4th, 1977 in Palm Springs, CA.
Growing up in Yucca Valley, CA, Frankie enjoyed an average childhood.
At the tender age of seven, Frankie got his first glimpse of what
would become his passion in life.
It was then that he first saw the WWF on
television. Being in complete awe of the product, he then bought
every WWF tape and any other wrestling tapes he could. From that
point until this very day, Frankie's life has revolved around wrestling.
The action figures, the CD's, the magazines, the tapes, he had it
all.
His first heroes of the mat were guys like
Ricky Steamboat and Tito Santana. As he grew older, eventually,
Bret and Owen Hart, Shawn Michaels, Sean Waltman, and various others,
gave Frankie the inspiration to fulfill his life-long dream of becoming
a professional wrestler.
While fellow high school classmates were
planning out there college aspirations, Frankie was secretly trying
to figure out how a skinny 145 lb. kid could ever become a sports
entertainer. After researching wrestling schools all around the
world, he, upon recommendation by none other then Bret Hart, chose
the Killer Kowalski institute of professional wrestling.
The only problem was that Killer's school
was located in Malden Massachusetts, and Frankie was in Southern
California. Viewing this as a small obstacle, Frankie worked for
over a year to help save up money for school. In early 1998, Frankie
packed up everything he had, and drove over 3000 miles to the Northeast.
When he arrived, he really had arrived. From
the first day of training, he knew this was his destiny. He knew
that he really was born under the sign of pro wrestling. Not worrying
about where to live or sleep, Frankies only concern was wrestling.
He completely engulfed himself in the business. It was then that
he learned that to rise to the top of this business, he must learn
all styles, and truly become a chameleon of the sport.
Walter, "Killer" Kowalski was there
with him every step of the way, as the two developed a great life
long friendship. Having his first few matches in the New England
area, Frankie was pretty much forced to return to the Sunshine State.
Upon his arrival, he began working with various
independent promotion, but quickly found a home in the EWF. At the
time, it was run by Bill Anderson and Jesse Hernandez. Frankie continued
to develop his own style, and quickly made a name for himself in
Southern California.
Over the last few years, Frankie has wrestled
pretty much all over the country and then some. In March of 2001,
Frankie began teaming with former ECW star Nova (now known as Simon
Dean in WWE). The formed the tag team Evolution, and quickly took
the tag team world by storm.
In 2003 Frankie competed on worldwide pay
per views for WWA. Also in 2003 Kazarian started wrestling in TNA
Wrestling and Ring of Honor. While in TNA Frankie feuded with such
names as AJ Styles, Chris Sabin and the 3 Live Kru ( Ron Killings,
BG James and Konnan). He also formed a very good tag team with the
man formerly known as Michael Shane and now known as Matt Bentley.
With Tracy Brooks by their side they were strong competition to
the entire TNA roster.
In 2005 Frankie made his WWE debut and quickly
became a force on the WWE Smackdown roster. He was undeafeted in
WWE competition. He defeated several former WWE Cruiserweight champions
in successive weeks including Paul London, Nunzio and Funaki. While
in WWE he also defeated former WWE tag team and Lightheavyweight
champion Scotty 2 Hotty.
With WWE and TNA Wrestling matches under
his belt, movies and television, Frankie is just in the beginning
stages. This is the life he was born to live, as his blood type
really is wrestling. Frankie Kazarian IS the future of wrestling,
and the future looks good.
