Arik Cannon and Jaysin Strife in a three way dance for the 3XWrestling
Cruiserweight championship at Devastation in May 2006. Pinned former
3XWrestling Heavyweight champion Brian Ash in a tag team match at
Extreme Conflict, in June 2006. Competed against Egotistico Fantastico,
Tony Sly, and TNA star Shark Boy at Genesis in July 2005.
After chasing the cruiserweight gold for his entire 3XWrestling career, the "Wild Child" finally won the prize at Devastation, in May 2006, following an action-packed match with Arik Cannon and Jaysin Strife. After losing the Cruiserweight title in September 2006 and then facing Gage Octane in October 2006, Matty faded from the scene in 3XW. In early 2007 he returned with a vengeance, upset at not being booked by 3XW any longer Matty formed a new faction with Buck Albright and Chance Cordova. This new faction was named "The Rejects" as all three men felt they had been rejected by 3XW. This led to a series of matches with the 3 facing the likes of Jimmy Rockwell, Ricky Kwong and Nate Bash and eventually led to a match that featured Cordova & Matty taking on Devin Carter & Casanova in a wild brawl in September 2007. Matty has not been seen since, when will he pop again and what will his intentions be ? |
